This was a very interesting story because it was affordable and it was east to make. All you needed was a bottle, piece of metal, and some water. This idea was invented by Eli Diaz and is used by more than 15,000 families in Philippians .

After you fill the bottle up with water, cut a hole in the sheet metal, and put it up on your roof. The bottle refracts the sunlight and spreads it across the room creating free affordable light.

The bottle gives about 50-60 watts of light, which is more than some light bulbs. The demand of this invention is huge, many countries are already showing an interest. This just shows that some of the brightest ideas don’t have to be big and sophisticated, it can be small and simple.
